Heidi Dirkse-Graw, M.S., CRC, LPC - President/CEO/Counselor
Heidi opened Dirkse Counseling and Consulting, Inc. in 1997. As President of the company, she leads a team of professionals providing Human Resource Consulting, Counseling, Mediation, Personal-Vocational-Social Adjustment and Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
HR Consultation - Heidi has over 25 years of experience working with businesses in the Portland Metro Area providing assistance in recruiting, creating job descriptions, team building, mediation, and helping to identify and implement ADA accommodation.
VR Services & Counseling - Heidi is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling - Rehabilitation Specialization from Portland State University. She is a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors & Therapists. As a Professional Counselor for more than 15 years and with a total of 25 years in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation, Heidi has developed skills and expertise in a wide range of issues including: Traumatic Brain Injury, ADD/ADHD, Bi-Polar Disorder, Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder and Adjustment Disorder. Advanced training has been pursued in the areas of vocational rehabilitation, couples counseling and individual therapy.
Community and professional involvement includes current service on the State Rehabilitation Council. Heidi also participates in local Employment First Teams that promote employment for individuals with ID/DD.

Cindy Bahl - Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, Cindy’s primary role is building and maintaining relationships with businesses. She works hard to facilitate the successful placement of clients in their dream job and to meet the business needs of the employer. Proud to represent Dirkse CC in the Portland Metro area, Cindy helps open doors for clients with diverse abilities through networking and community engagement. In addition to her vast community development and sales experience, she taught Customer Service, Sales and Microsoft Office skills at a vocational rehabilitation school and found her niche in serving others. Cindy has been in the Portland area for over 2 years and enjoys time with her husband, two cats and darling grandchildren. Her favorite activities include hiking, kayaking and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Jennifer Lundgren, M.B.A., SHRM-CP - HR Director
Jennifer brings to Dirkse Counseling & Consulting over 10 years’ experience in sales, operations, and management. She is thrilled to be using her HR expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and learning and development for Dirkse CC. Homegrown in Oregon, Jennifer took a brief stint in Arizona, and Wisconsin developing what she thought would be a career in Rehabilitation with individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation Management (2000) from Arizona State University. Instead, upon obtaining her undergraduate degree she found work within the financial industry, where she began to thrive and discover her passion in business management, human resources and developing a rewarding relationship for both clients and employees through training and development. Oregon called her back where she furthered her employment within banking and ultimately earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2006 and her HR Certification from Portland State University in 2012. Jennifer earned her SHRM Certification in 2016.
Glenn Bishop, M.S., CRC - Senior Employment Specialist
Glenn has been part of the professional team at Dirkse Counseling & Consulting since March 2000, and has over 20 years of experience in the counseling field. Glenn is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who serves as a Senior Employment Specialist at Dirkse CC. Glenn has experience working within a wide range and degree of disabilities, providing comprehensive assessment and placement services that are skillfully tailored to each client’s individual skills, needs, and desires. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration from Oregon State University in 1991 and a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Portland State University in 2004. He currently serves on the P.S.U. Rehabilitation Advisory Board.
Moriah Krussow, B.S. - Employment Specialist Supervisor
With 6 years of prior experience as an Employment Specialist, Moriah specialized in placing individuals with criminal histories as well as mental illnesses into meaningful, competitive employment. Employed by a large non-profit organization located in downtown Portland, she served individuals with criminal backgrounds, mental health, addictions and homelessness challenges. Moriah facilitated weekly Job Clubs and Moral Reconation Therapy groups. She also has experience with the IPS Supportive Employment and Progressive Employment models. After being a Lead Employment Specialist for 2 years, Moriah came to DCC as a an Employment Specialist Supervisor. With prior supervisory experience at a psychiatric day treatment center serving at-risk youth, she was delighted to be able to unite her skills and experience into a supervisory position with Dirkse CC. Moriah has her Bachelors of Science in Fine Arts with a Minor in Psychology. She is also a certified MRT Facilitator and a QMHA.
Chris Perry, M.S., CRC - Employment Specialist
Chris began working as an employment specialist with Dirkse Counseling and Consulting in 2014. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Portland State University, where he is now working in pursuit of his Masters in Science for Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. Chris entered the professional world by enlisting in the United States Navy, where he served honorably overseas and at home. After leaving the service, Chris spent three years working with the Portland Veterans Association Medical Center on the mental health unit as a Recreational Therapy Aid. Inspired by his work with Veterans, he now strives to help individuals with all types of disabilities find meaningful and fulfilling employment.
Nicole Perdue, B.S. - Employment Specialist
Born and raised in Oregon, Nicole has always had a strong sense of community and inclusion. When she started at Dirkse, in 2015, she realized she found a career that paired her educational endeavors with the passion to make her community stronger. Nicole is a current student at PSU where she is earning her masters in Clinical Rehabilitation. She currently holds a Bachelor of Scince in Psychology with Minors in Anthropology and Sociology. Nicole has a bacground in education and community outreach. Nicole as focused her work on assisting people who experience disabilities. She is motivated by the principle that people are stronger when they are connected to their community in a positive way. Through these connections, independence and fellings of self worth are increased. When asked what she enjoys most about her current position she replied, "those moments when a client finds a good fit in a work place and they recognize their own importnace."
Tiffny Maldonado - Office AdministrationTiffny joined Dirkse Counseling and Consulting in early 2016. She brings several years of expeirence in administration support, human resources, and billing. She has spent the last 7 years as an Office Adminstrator in the retail industry, supporting multiple program directors as well as supporting the daily operations of the office. Tiffny brings a strong customer service work ethic, effective communication, and organization skills to Dirkse.
Dirkse CC Job Coaches
Dirkse Counseling and Consulting has a developed team of job coaches, who provide direct 1:1 support to our customers in their employment setting. Job coaches provide on-site support to individuals in job retention and long-term support programs. Through modeling, direct instruction, and social support, coaches are able to accommodate individual’s needs, and act as a bridge between the employee and the employer. Dirkse job coaches receive significant education and training on communication, behavior, and effective supports, highlighting the individual support needs of the person. Current job coach pool includes individuals who have at minimum a Bachelors level education, with the majority currently continuing their graduate school education in social services and vocational rehabilitation. Coaches are continually involved in continuing education and training to allow them to maintain their skill set.
